Veitsiluoto is one of the largest and most advanced industrial parks in northern Finland, offering more than 190 hectares of zoned industrial land. The area is directly connected to both rail and the Port of Kemi, and includes district heating infrastructure as well as up to 64 MW of electrical capacity. This makes it a prime location for large-scale hydrogen, P2X, bio-based processes, and other energy-intensive industries.

With its deep integration into Kemi’s industrial ecosystem, Veitsiluoto provides unparalleled scalability and operational readiness. Investors can leverage the site’s extensive infrastructure, strong logistics backbone, and proximity to the northernmost general cargo port in Finland for export-oriented production.

Industry news

Join us in Sea-Lapland for high-level event aimed at accelerating hydrogen economy investments and building a coordinated regional ecosystem. Sea-Lapland is entering a new phase of hydrogen and P2X development, with major industrial players, municipalities and infrastructure operators working together to build a coordinated ecosystem. This event offers direct access to the people shaping that process and the information needed for future investment decisions. Please list your areas of interest for the afternoon Meet & Greet session when registering, so we can tailor the discussions to your needs. As soon as the agenda is finalised, we will share it with all participants. At this stage, please note that the departure from Oulu for the site visit is at 7:30, in front of the famous Toripoliisi statue. The return to Oulu will be no later than around 16:30.
